Amazon discontinued the ability to create images using their SiteStripe feature and in their infinite wisdom broke all previously created images on 12/31/23. Many blogs used this feature, including this one. Expect my archives to be a hot mess of broken book cover images until I can slowly comb through 20 years of archives to make corrections.

Reminder: #TBRChallenge Day is December 21

Hey, hey, hey it's that time of the month again - #TBRChallenge time! The next Challenge is set for Wednesday, December 21.  This month's (always) optional theme is Festive.

For many years, December used to be the defacto "holiday" theme but a few years ago I purposely changed it to festive. Why? Because festive means a lot of things and it's not proprietary towards the Christmas holiday. Festive also means joyful, cheerful, celebratory, carefree, happy, so on and so forth. Maybe this is the month you pull a lighter bit of fluff out of your TBR? Maybe you read that historical romance that's centered around a house party of a masquerade ball? Or maybe you dig up a romance that features any other holiday other than Christmas? There are a lot of directions you can take this theme if Christmas romances ain't your thing.

However, the themes are completely optional. Maybe this month you're in the mood for a dark, angsty read.  That's fine! Remember the goal of the challenge has been, and always will be, to read something (anything!) that's been languishing in your mountain range of unread books.

I cannot believe it - but here we are on the last TBR Challenge of 2022. I want to thank everyone who participated and followed along this past year. If you'd like to join in on the fun (and the delusion that you might actually be making progress on your TBR 😂), sign-ups for 2023 are underway.
