You Can Thank Me Later

I began to find ways to waste time online back during my college years (we're talking mid-to-late 1990s), when I spent entirely too much time on message boards and in chat rooms because I was addicted to soap operas.  Then, of course, came the discovery of romance novels and listservs and more bulletin boards and now we have the eternal time suck that is social media.  Which means, prioritizing.

I do not have an Instagram account.  Mostly because after I downloaded the app to my phone I couldn't figure it out in three seconds so I ended up deleting it.  If I can't figure it out in three seconds?  Wendy don't got time for that.  I can live without Instagram.

But if anyone were going to change my mind?  It might be Anibal Sanchez - a pitcher for my Detroit Tigers (and no, he hasn't gotten a Harlequin Meets Tigers story.....yet).  Because really, how could I get tired of gazing upon these tasty morsels?

Sanchez in front then (l to r) Jose Iglesias, Yoenis Cespedes, Miguel Cabrera, Victor Martinez, Hernan Perez
Sanchez in front then (l to r) Iglesias, Perez in back, Victor, Cespedes, Miggy
Our closer, Joakim Soria.  I have no idea what's going on with the hair but *OMG* ::fanning self::
And yes, apparently trolling the Internet for pictures of cute baseball players is more important to me right now than, uh, say.....reading.  Sigh.  But hey, at least I shared the eye candy.

The thing that's best about baseball players as eye candy is they aren't all covered up with equipment like hockey and/or football players. We get lots of close ups as opposed to say soccer where we don't get the close ups that could make a better sport to watch. And we aren't distracted by all those tattoos and silly uniforms that is distracting in basketball.

Nope, baseball is definetly the best sport to watch for us female fans.

I can relate. I'm currently doing the same with my TV boyfriend, the Arrow. :)

I don't think I'll ever become a fan of baseball (it's not discrimination, I'm not a sports fan, period), but I do thank you for the eye candy. It's...tasty.

Kristie: See! Yes! Baseball really is the best :)

PK: Bwahahaha! Really, I should be reading. But I can't seem to stay away from the eye candy.....

AL: Very tasty indeed :)

I am insisting that Dad and I go to the game very early in July - I plan to yell every Spanish phrase I can think of to get one of those gents to come by and say hola to me. :) Sigh - but I do believe most are married, ah well. --Lil Sis

Lil' Sis: Bwahahahaha! Sadly, most of them are - at least the guys with the fattest contracts (although I'm not sure about Cespedes....). Hands off Jose Igelsias. He's all mine :) Seriously. I'll cut you.

Also - very late return comments to Kelly and Erin. I'm glad I brought you joy and I had NO idea Soria was that kind of hot either. Yummers!
