SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
The Night Season by Chelsea Cain, the next book in the author's Archie Sheridan saga is set for a March 2011 release.
Description:
With Beauty Killer Gretchen Lowell locked away behind bars once again, Portland detective Archie Sheridan can finally rest. Meanwhile, the city of Portland is in crisis. Several people have drowned in heavy rains that have flooded the Willamette River. But the medical examiner discovers that in fact the latest victim was poisoned before she went into the water—she didn’t drown. A little detective work shows that so far three of those previously thought to be accidental drownings have actually been murdered. Portland has a new serial killer on its hands, and Archie and his task force have a new case. Meanwhile reporter Susan Ward is following up on an entirely separate mystery: the dramatic flooding has unearthed a skeleton, a man who might have died during catastrophic flooding more than sixty years ago that washed away an entire neighborhood and killed at least 15 people. How many months until March exactly? ::tap, tap, tap::
As Archie follows the bizarre trail of evidence and evil deeds to catch his killer, he has to battle the rising waters of the Willamette first.

Awesome! I still need to get caught up on this series though...
OMG Wendy, you and me both! Thank you for this heads up.
March will come way faster than you think :P
I KNEW there was something I was supposed to be doing: Getting this series! Thanks for the reminder.
Oh, God. Like I need another series to my reading list...but I'm intrigued and I'm almost done Tess Gerritsen's and Barry Eisler's backlists. Do I need to start from book one, or can I plunge in with this title?
Ann: I would recommend reading this series in order - but the good news is that it won't be too daunting. The backlist only consists of three titles right now :)
In order:
Heartsick
Sweetheart
Evil At Heart
Awesome news! I was thinking I needed to ask you if you'd heard any news on a new Cain book, and here you read my mind. I currently have EVIL AT HEART winging its way to me as we speak.
