For those of you not totally sick of me pimpin' "my" suggested Cheryl St. John eBook bundle for Harlequin, I'm over at the Harlequin Blog today doing...yeah, more pimpin'.
The bundle is pretty much on sale all over the darn place, and now Sony finally has it listed. Yippee!
In other news, I had so hoped that I would be able to get my reading act together in 2010, but so far I've been a massive FAIL. My "goal" was to get some sort of consistency in my reading. To carve out reading time every day in order to get into some sort of rhythm. Last year was filled with either me tearing through books in a day or not reading a single, solitary word in any book for days on end. Seems that pattern is holding for 2010 so far, and it's giving me massive TBR Anxiety.
Crippling, borderline psychotic, TBR Anxiety.
And I can't even use the excuse that I'm reading crap. I'm reading good stuff! Argh!
I'm hoping to get my act together this weekend, especially since the first day of the TBR Challenge is coming up next week!
Um, yeah. It would look kinda bad to skip the first month....wouldn't it?

If your TBR pile is as big as you say it is, no wonder you have TBR Anxiety. That sounds like an official syndrome that should have a Wikipedia entry, lol. But at least you know there has to be some good stuff waiting for you in there. I suppose the trick is finding one of the good ones and not a dog. Good luck!
Wendy's TBR mountain range is larger than anyone can imagine--I don't have a fraction of what she has, and I get antsy when I think about it!
Chocolate?
Orange sugar cookies?
Hugs?
Phyl: My problem is I am reading good stuff - I'm just not making the time to read it.
AL: I just need some will power. And focus. And to step away from the TV and computer.
OMG - Wendy has books in her TBR that have their own TBRs.
Not that I'm adding to your anxiety or anything...
I say you should subscribe to my strategy (Jill jumped on the bandwagon today, too). Read only what you want, when you want to. Don't worry about all the rest. (Except for work, of course...)
It's so freeing, I tell you!
TBR anxiety- I'm glad there's finally a name for it...
Lori: Hardy, har, har. NOT! LOL
And yeah, I have homework reading I need to get to soon. Our library's event is coming up in April and I still gotta do the reading! Eeep!
D.L: I'm convinces it's an actually syndrome and it's only a matter of time before the medical community recognizes it :)
Heh. I don't have a quarter of what you have and I have TBR anxiety. I can't imangine what your is like. I stole an idea from Kristie J and I have to read 5 books for every one I buy. SO I'm not allowed to buy a new book until I read 5 off my TBR pile. And I blogged about it and everything so I HAVE to stick to it!
*whisper* I still want to buy books tho...and I'm not including my Blaze subscription ...*
LOL
I want to but books
Sayuri: OMG - I can't even imagine what my TBR would be like if I were nuts enough to do an HQ subscription plan! Just thinking about the possibility is causing my brain to melt.
This week's challenge is a series/category book -- so should at least be a quickie read, right?
Amy: Yeah, I dug out an older Silhouette Desire to read. About halfway thru it, and should have it wrapped up today :)
This is pretty much ALWAYS my pattern. Read 3 or 4 books in a weekend, then nothing for the next week. Then... Actually, my life is kind of like that. Run full tilt as long as I can manage, then collapse for a while. Except that I'm a slow-slogger when it comes to writing. So many pages every (week)day.
My TBR is shrinking a little bit. I need to weed out the books I know I'll never get around to...
