Launch Day Is Here!

January 1 not only means the first day of a brand new, shiny year - but it's also launch day for the first round of the Harlequin Blogger Bundles! And what should greet me this morning when I clicked over to Harlequin's eBook site? This lovely banner. They even have a separate page set-up showcasing all the currently available bundles! How awesome is that? Way awesome!

Dear Author's bundle showcases Unusual Heroines, featuring stories from Harlequin Blaze, Harlequin Temptation (oh, how I miss that line!) and Harlequin SuperRomance.

We Write Romance has selected a bundle filled with four stories from Harlequin Presents.

And then there is my bundle, chock full of Cheryl St. John and Harlequin Historical western goodness.

These bundles are available at several of ebook retailers and prices vary. You can currently find The Harvey Girls bundle at:

eHarlequin, selling for $12.60

Amazon Kindle, selling for $9.99

Fictionwise, selling for $11.90 (there is a micropay rebate option)

Books On Board, selling for $9.98

Although I'm not seeing it over at the Sony store yet. Bummer!

So for those of you who do ebooks, I hope you'll consider downloading one (or all!) of these bundles should the spirit move you. I'd love to see one (or more) of the Blogger Bundles make Harlequin's Top 10 Bestsellers list.

Happy New Year!

Congrats to Wendy and Cheryl! I don't read many ebooks but I plan to check out these bundles. :)

The bundles sound terrific. If I only had a Kindle....
Wendy, I have a question for you. Since following your blog, I have glommed several Cheryl St. John novels, and am preparing to start on them in the near future. Should they be read in any particular order, or rather, are they part of a series? Or does it matter?

Nikki: Cheryl has done some connected books - but I personally feel they can be read out of order as they really are stand-alones at their core. I read most of them out of order and it didn't detract from my reading experience at all. Here's a list though of those connected books should you be a stickler for reading in order:

The Neubauer Brothers:
Heaven Can Wait
Rain Shadow

The Harvey Girls:
The Doctor’s Wife
The Lawman’s Bride
The Preacher's Daughter

The Copper Creek Brides:
Sweet Annie
His Secondhand Wife
Wed Under Western Skies- Almost a Bride novella

Thanks, Wendy. I have the Harvey Girls books, as well as His Secondhand Wife. I'm looking forward to getting started on these.

I may have to jump on the St. John wagon train and try this ebook bundle. I've never read an HH, let alone a St. John, and I'm probably missing out. So, I think I'll give it a go.

The DA bundle looks good too, except that I already have two of the books in the print TBR, so I'm not sure if it's worth the money to buy the bundle when it's just for two books.

Katie: OMG - you haven't read any HHs? Ever?! Get chatting with your AAR colleagues woman! Off the top of my head I highly recommend Cheryl St. John and Cheryl Reavis.

LOL, nope, never. In my defense, I've only been reading historicals since September 2008.

I've got Cheryl St. John on my list because of you and Kristie, and Carla Kelly on my list because so many AAR peeps love her. Maybe this year.
