I work in a fairly sterile office environment, so it's always fun to go out to one of our branches and weed through their adult fiction. You think cover art is atrocious now? Yeah, nothing close to as horrifying as the decade in publishing that was the 1970s. I came across this gem today, published back in 1971.Scary, isn't it? Like a really bad acid trip. The kind of acid trip they always depict in those anti-drug movies where the pretty blond girl-next-door loses her mind and jumps out of a 20-story window because she wants to fly, fly, fly like a bird.
There are days I'm glad I don't remember the 1970s, and this would be one of them. ::shudder::

Actually I think the cover's kind of cool. Course I was born in 1976 so I tend to be a little biased about that time period. And yes, I remember little bits and pieces about it.
