Giveaway: A Giant Pile Of Harlequin Passion

Yes folks, the RWA 2012 tote bags and mother-lode of books giveaways are back!

This go-around I'm giving away a giant pile of Harlequin category romance from, what I consider, their "passion" lines.  Represented here are Harlequin Presents, Harlequin Desire, Harlequin Blaze and Kimani Romance.

For your chance to win this giant pile of goodies, leave a comment on this blog post, and answer this question:

If you could go anywhere in the world for a "romantic getaway" - where would it be?

Winner will be announced on Tuesday, September 25.  And sorry folks - this one is open to US residents only.  Blame it on the heavy box.  The rest of the giveaways from here on out will be open to international folks as well - promise.

I love the idea of a mountain resort in the middle of winter. Snowed in, snuggled up and toasty in front a fire. Most any mountain range in the world would do.

Oooo! Giant box of angsty goodness!

It may not be classically romantic, but my third honeymoon will be in London. My husband and I had a fantastic 2nd honeymoon in New York and I'm dying to visit London. Someday the kid will either be old enough to come or old enough to leave.

Well, since I don't have a SO - I have to admit, even though I get seasick, I've always wanted to go on a cruise.

Specifically, I want to cruise on The Love Boat. (Yes, I know it's real name is The Pacific Princess.)

I was always so hung up on that show as a kid. I wanted so badly to travel on it and maybe meet my future husband.

Now, I would just like to go on one of Susan Sommers' cruises. Though I'll settle for one of Richard Simmons' ones.

The beach, every time. Preferably Kauai.

I'll ditto the snowy cabin entry. Even when it's just me, it's the perfect getaway. With someone else, even better!

Italy. They're language was actually designed to be beautiful.

I know it's a cliche, but I'd pick Paris. I've never been, I've always wanted to go and it is supposed to be the most romantic city. And if the romance sadly turned out to be a dud I could see some wonderful art and eat really, really good bread to drown my sorrows. A gil's gotta have a back-up plan :)

Oooooooooooh, this is tough, but I have 2 small children, so I'd say just about anywhere where we can be alone. Although I am partial to the idea of a bed and breakfast and a claw foot tub.

A cabin in the mountains. Snuggled up in front of a rock fireplace. No TV, no internet.

Bedroom, of course.

Ireland. Cuddled up in front of a peat fire, wind moaning around the house, rain pattering on windows, sheep baa-ing in the next field.

A few years ago I had a heavenly three weeks in DC with my (then) s.o.--museums and galleries and monuments, and company who enjoyed them just as much as myself.

Does that count?

Hawaii, no question about it.

I have to say, it's not the place - it's the man. However, my man (who is imaginary at this point as I have no man in my life at the moment, hence the need for more romance books) would love to take me to Paris.

As I live in the mountains...the Rocky ones...I'd definitely pick and oldie but goody...Niagara Falls. Something of significance to look at but lots of time for romance. (you can only look at water falling off rocks for so long before you want some close time with the S.O.)

I saw a travel show a few years ago on Santorini, Greece. It was just beautiful...volcanic rock and black sand beaches. I'd probably have to drag my hubby out of a fishing boat, deer stand, or duck blind but we would have such a great time once we got there. Since odds are not good that we will ever make that trip, I'll have to depend on Harlequin's Greek tycoons to share a taste of their beautiful homeland with me.

My ideal romantic getaway would be a cruise of the Caribbean. It's doubtful I could ever afford such a trip, but one can dream...

My ideal would be the west of Ireland. Preferably with a sexy Irishman.

my ideal romantic getaway would be in the Tuscany region of Italy during the early Fall. Driving through the hills and past vineyards, then stopping for delicious food and finally staying in a bed and breakfast with my guy.

I would love to go to Paris I'm a sucker for that city. The lights the food and of course the tower I so want to have a Picnic underneath it.

I've always wanted to see Germany. I've heard it is incredibly pretty and green. I have no S.O., so I'm imagining some hot European hunk showing me around.

Boston. Hubby and I met there 16 years ago. In three days (the length of my visit), I fell madly in love. Six months later, we were married.

My romantic getaway would be to Bright House Field in Clearwater, Florida, the Spring Training home of the Philadelphia Phillies. Florida in March and the bright promise of a new baseball season, what a heady combination...I'd even bring the dh with me! :) Debora

Right now, it would be a weekend in Vermont. One of these days I'll go for nice long hikes in the woods as the leaves change...snuggle up in a fisherman's knit sweater and well loved jeans by a fire and sip mulled cider while the stars come out. Until then, I'll enjoy my 75F days and nippy nights

For some reason New Orleans. Weird, but fitting as I'm not the most traditional person in the world.
