Oh To Have That Waist!

Our own dear sweet Nicole sent me this blog fodder - embroidery patterns of sexy librarians. It's times like these that I wish I was moderately crafty. Oh, who am I kidding? I'd just settle for having that waist line.

And neither here nor there, the Super Librarian's Mom used to have some kick ass cat's eye glasses like that. You go on with your bad self Mom!

My college daughter is way into embroidery, which means I've spent mega-bucks at Sublime Stitching. All their patterns are awesome.
Funny story - they're out of Austin, but her patterns are sold everywhere. I saw some Sublime Stitching kits for sale at the museum gift shop at the Victoria & Albert in London.

Okay, so it's not that great of a story. Still mildly interesting, yes?

I haven't seen the librarian patterns - these are too cute! And to go with her tiny waist, she has pointy boobs.

Seeing your random books from your library makes me want to go reread Lady Sophia's Lover after I finish Lover Unbound. (I know, I know, I am very behind, and I have another one to go). And I am directing my niece, the librarian, and my sister, the librarian, to that website.

Thanks for that link! I must have those embroidery patterns. ;) I'm not sure I'll be able to manage them, but Twin is super crafty and will help me.

Forget being crafty. I want that figure too! But not the heels. I can't walk in those things.

You know, it never ceases to amaze me how many people think that librarians actually wear those things. I keep telling them librarians and clerks like myself wear jeans and tennies. But people think we wear tight skirts and high heels. (I also can't get them to understand that 1: I am not a librarian. 2: At 230 pounds I'm NOT a "hot librarian" either. And 3: Libraries are not like you see in pornos.)
