Amazon discontinued the ability to create images using their SiteStripe feature and in their infinite wisdom broke all previously created images on 12/31/23. Many blogs used this feature, including this one. Expect my archives to be a hot mess of broken book cover images until I can slowly comb through 20 years of archives to make corrections.

I have finally had enough. I do still love using Netscape as a browser, but their services have done nothing but tick me off in the last 6 months.

First my free e-mail account went kaput. Now my web site has gone all screwy. Pages won't load that should, broken graphics appear when they shouldn't etc. When I go to file management to dink around, I keep getting the agreement policy. When I click on OK, it does not go away.

And before anyone asks - no my computer's cache is not the problem. That was the first thing I checked.

So I have moved my website over to Yahell. The site looks the same, it's just a slightly different URL. The link on the right hand side of my blog has been changed accordingly.

I also was a good little Internet monkey and uploaded a redirect page to my old homepage at Netscape. Fat lot of good it will do since my web site is loading over there in a hit or miss fashion.

Ah well, I'm getting what I paid for after all. All of these services are free.
