I've been less than thrilled with the last few because there has been less Kay and more of the other characters - especially Lucy who drives me batty.<br><br>Yeah, the last several books Marino's puppy love for Kay has really come through. Blessedly there have been no open declarations of love - but the elephant is definitely in the living room. It's just none of the characters have pointed it out yet. Personally, I liked the badass Marino who gave Kay sh*t in the earlier books. He's giving her sh*t so far in this new one - but one gets the feeling that it's because of his "spurned" affections.
