That connection didn't bother me to the point of being pulled out of the story. I actually kind of liked the idea.

This was definitely a book where the parts didn't quite come together as a whole, for me. There was stuff I liked here, but something about the execution never quite gelled. And I'll be honest - it probably suffered a bit in comparison to Phillip's book, which I really enjoyed immensely. I might have still had Previous Good Book In The Series Hangover :)Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12485867264936716806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-350052669699480502.post-88223840563838771792015-01-01T20:35:07.020-08:002015-01-01T20:35:07.020-08:00I read this one and felt it was just okay. Like yo...I read this one and felt it was just okay. Like you, I thought Matthew was overreacting to Whitney's ID. Did you think Miley Cyrus, by the way? That kind of pulled me out of the story. And her relationship with Phillip's fiance wasn't really explained to my satisfaction. I understood that part--it just didn't seem genuine to me. However, I haven't read Phillip's books, but I certainly will BOLO for it.Nikkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04889835236361582323noreply@blogger.com
