Oh no -- how were you able to cook your First Ever Thanksgiving turkey dinner after getting the stomach flu the night before?? You, girl, are a trooper! Dare I hope to get you to cook Easter dinner or even New Year's? Do you go home for the holidays this year?

Reads like the typical American holiday. :) Seriously though, hope you and The Man feel better soon. WOOTS for you, cooking a Thanksgiving feast while ill. Lawd knows I'd never go to such lengths...

I was just thinking about you and your Man this morning wondering how Thanksgiving went. So you did all the cooking while recovering from the flu? Good on ya SL.

Hope you are taking it easy today.

Amy: I'm way more confident with Easter dinner, because we traditionally do a ham. This was my first ever "real" turkey. In the past, with just me and My Man, I've just done turkey breast. And yeah, I'm heading home for Christmas this year.

Catie: Ha ha ha ha! You're right. It does sound like a standard American holiday. Just toss in some fighting amongst relatives to round it out.

Rosie: I didn't get as sick as everybody else. My Man and both his parents have been completely drained by it. Me? I spent one evening between bed and bathroom and woke up Thursday morning operating around 90%. Also, while it was work to make dinner, I wasn't exactly cooking anything "hard." Just time consuming.

(Pssst - which is code for we bought the pies LOL).

That's incredible that you were able to cook Thanksgiving dinner while suffering from the stomach flu. I so would have been calling Luby's for their turkey dinner takeout.

Erm...

Happy Holidays to you as well.

Want some soothing chamomile for your stomach?

I guess now you are just thankful Thanksgiving is over. :-)

Hope everyone is fully recovered and kicking ass again.

LOL Oh no, Wendy! I can't believe you all got in the space of that time. That sucks. The stomach flu is always the worst. I hope you're feeling better now! <3

Tell that boy to drop me an e-mail! I think the last e-mail address I had for him bounced back to me.

Yeah, the stomach flu sucked. Luckily, both My Man and I seemed to be fully recovered as of yesterday. We were past the "getting sick" stage, but it kind of lingered on with an upset, queasy stomach.....
