Amazon discontinued the ability to create images using their SiteStripe feature and in their infinite wisdom broke all previously created images on 12/31/23. Many blogs used this feature, including this one. Expect my archives to be a hot mess of broken book cover images until I can slowly comb through 20 years of archives to make corrections.

Hellllloooooo Nurse!

I've gotta be honest - the beefcake covers don't do a whole lot for me. Yes, I like men. In fact, I adore men. But I don't need to see a bare-arsed chest on every single one of my romance books. Just don't. That being said, I recently got some promotional bookmarks and among the batch was this eye-popping, jaw-dropping, stud muffin on the cover of Christina Skye's September release, To Catch A Thief. I hate to morph to one of those giggly romance fangirls who gets steamy over some hunky cover model - but dayum!

Yeah, as a rule I don't care for acres of rampant pecs and abs on the cover of a book... I think clothes are as sexy as flesh.

But this particular interpretation is rather tasty. :)

See you soon in SF!

This is actually semi-believable mantitty. And he doesn't look too dumb. Plus he's not looking at me--biggest cover peeve.

So he'll do.

ummm yeah, I want one of those bookmarks. LOL

He's not "overdone" and like Sherry Thomas said, he's not looking at me.

hmmmmmm

when I say not "overdone" I mean his boobs are not bigger than mine! LOLOLOL

I'm a D cup and nothing is more squicky than looking at a mantitty cover with a model whose boobs are bigger than mine! ;o)

Um, no offense, but YUCK! I've never been big on guys built like that. I prefer them slender. Like young Mr. Spock or Barry Manilow. Now THAT'S my idea of sexy!

I like it a lot better than her latest Code Name: books. I haven't read any of them just because of the silly titles. This one I would try *g*

What is with the lack of chest hair on cover studs? I'm not saying I like to embrace or even drool over a bear but really, some of the covers look like they used plastic Ken dolls instead of real men!

I do like this pose better than a lot of them.
