Not Again!

First Dirt gets cancelled, and now this!

I've mentioned it on the blog before that I am a hard core Law & Order junkie. I'll be honest though, I gave up SVU after a brief flirtation (too much whiny baggage) and the only reason I started watching Criminal Intent? The return of Mike Logan. Yeah, yeah, yeah - Mr. Big - blah, blah, blah. Mr. Walking Sex will always be Mike Logan to me. Now word has come down that he's leaving the show! Dagnabit!

So who are they replacing him with?

Jeff Goldblum!

Now, I'm not totally against the idea of Mr. Goldblum. The man does have one of the sexiest noses in Hollywood (Adrien Brody wins that race hands down) - but no more Mike Logan?! Again?! Damn. Damnity, damn, damn.

Oh well. Maybe The Boyfriend is right. Maybe this won't totally suck. He likes the Jeff Goldblum idea. But no more Mike Logan? I'm crying in my beer already.

What the hell is wrong with those idiots??????

*sob*

(I don't even watch tv anymore, but having Mike Logan back was soooo great!)

Yeah, this is crappy news. But, I gotta' agree w/ The Boyfriend. The idea of Jeff Goldblum does not suck. Nope, not at all.

I like Jeff Goldblum. I watched a TON of L&O when on maternity leave (um, almost nine years ago!), but haven't watched lately.

I didn't know Noth was back, and now I'm bummed 'cause I do know, and he's leaving. Shoot. But I do really like JG's snarky delivery. He made Jurassic Park for me.

Aww that sucks! I love Mike Logan too, especially on the original L&O. *sniff*

Ah yes, Jeff Goldblum - aka William Shatner: the Next Generation. LOL

I joke! I enjoy watching both Shatner and Goldblum. ;-)

I'm sorry -- I'm still a Denofrio fan. I love ol' Bobby.

Wendy, do not despair. C. Noth left the series once and returned in L&O:CI. Unless they kill him off, there is always hope that Mike Logan will return in the future. See how optimistic I am--for me, this program is close kin to the Energizer Bunny.

I am in deep L&O mourning. First Jesse Martin and now this?!

I was always kind of lukewarm on L&O Jesse Martin. I lurved him when he was on Ally McBeal though. ::dreamy sigh::

I was so happy when they brought back Mike Logan for Criminal Intent - although that annoying bitch partner they paired him up with last season (Alicia Witt?) just about drove me bat-shit crazy.

Sigh, I am going to give Jeff Goldblum a chance. Really, how can I not give a man with such a handsome, sexy nose a chance?

Bobby AKA Good Ol' Vincent really doesn't do a lot for me. His character is just so....smug. But, I am enjoying him more now that they're exploring his back story and I adore his partner, Eames.

Eames has gotten better now that they've given her more...life. Se always used to be such a robot who adored Bobby, and seemed to go with whatever he said. Now she actually gives him lip.

I didn't watch Criminal Intent, even though it had Anna from What About Bob? :-) I just could not get past Denofrio, the Bug Guy from Men In Black, and there seemed to be something a little off-kilter in his performance - smug may indeed be the word I'm searching for.

I sort of missed the return of Mike Logan. However, given that I only found SVU in reruns, I'll try to catch up.

As for Jeff Goldblum, aka The Fly? I'm on the fence, because I find him an interesting actor and he's got quite the sexy saunter -- a sort of lithe, loose grace. (I'm thinking of the end of Independence Day in particular.)

And then there's classic Law & Order. I still miss Lenny!!!!

Amy: Not sure if you're watching the new season on USA - but Eames is pissed at him right now, and I'm lovin' it! Gives their relationship more tension, and I can't wait to see how it all shakes out.

Margaret: I still miss Lenny too - but I really think regular L&O got some new life this past season. Jack's now the DA, and the new ADA, Cutter, gives him a good sparing partner. Oooooh, and Jack has to deal with politics now - and that's been oodles of fun to watch!

And I still heart Lt. Van Buren. Girlfriend kicks major butt!

I remember when L.T. was in another episode, as the mother of a baby who was shot by accident. Gut-wrenching to watch her response. She's a superb actress.

I never could get into CI or Mike. I really like SVU - cause for me it's all about Det. John Munch. Yummy. Now he's my kind of guy. (I have a thing for guys with big noses. My first crush was Mr. Spock and since Spock was played by Leonard Nimoy....) Mmm - I'd love to guest star on SVU, but only if I got to make out with the Munch-man!
